Netgear Wireless Router Update
The simplest method to update the firmware of your Netgear router is through the Nighthawk App or doing it automatically through a webpage. Update using Nighthawk app If you have not yet downloaded the app, visit nighthawk-app.com to download the same. Once you are done, follow the steps: Connect the device you are using to your router’s wifi network. Open the Nighthawk app and enter the username and password if prompted. Once you are logged in a dashboard will appear. Select the image of the router containing the image of your router. On the Router Settings page, scroll down and tap Check for updates. If an update is available, tap update. Once you click on the Update button, avoid going online, or turning the router off, or anything until the router restarts.
